The Construction Law Section is concerned with issues including public contracting, development, insurance and claims, OSHA compliance, and subcontracting. Sometimes co-sponsors CLE programs with the Real Property Section. The section authored and distributes the Residential Construction Contract. The section, with more than 480 members, sponsors CLE programs and services; provides members with a substantive newsletter; and helps mold the association's legislative agenda for presentation to the N.C. General Assembly.
